The Culture of Exclusivity
Most often than not we have thought of exclusivity as a way to feel special but have we ever thought what it is really doing? Exclusivity comes from the word exclusion a word that has always had negative conotation to its usage and the derivative could not be doing anything better.
Exclusivity is a craftily put together work for breaking you away from the world. Now you can no longer compare, compete and hence evaluate the value of what you are getting. It is nothing but an attempt by the corporations to not let the market forces act on you. When we say market forces we mean folks that you talk to and the information that you exchange. But since you don't need either of them, you drift away from those relationships.
Without realizing, one moves towards loneliness. Ever wonder why as the affordibility increases, the social relationships decrease.

Well put. Stepping out of the citadels you try so hard to create, and connecting with everything else around is almost exhilarating, when it should ideally be commonplace.
